Troika Systems Ltd Founded
Where it all began. From a simple idea to improve print quality control, Troika has grown into a global name in measurement and inspection.
Over the years, our tools have helped thousands of printers, converters, and engravers work smarter, reduce waste, and get more from every job.
AniCAM and FlexoCAM Released
Released in 2005, the original AniCAM and FlexoCAM marked Troika’s first step into digital QC. FlexoCAM brought 3D plate analysis and halftone dot measurement to flexo printers, while AniCAM extended that power to anilox inspection.
With autofocus, USB connectivity, and versatile scanning capabilities, these devices laid the groundwork for today’s fully integrated QC systems.
Validated at the Welsh Centre for Printing and Coating
In 2007, AniCAM's accuracy was put to the test against high-end lab equipment. At Swansea University's Welsh Centre for Printing and Coating, Dr Davide Deganello compared AniCAM measurements with a laboratory interferometer across 12 anilox bands.
The results were clear. AniCAM delivered measurements well within the tolerances required for the print industry, validating its reliability as a trusted QC tool.
AniCAM HD™ Launches with Impact
In 2021, Troika launched the AniCAM HD™, bringing sharper optics, faster scanning, and enhanced 3D imaging to print quality control.
It was awarded the Stationers’ Company Innovation Excellence Award for its impact on accuracy, efficiency, and sustainability in packaging production.
AniCAM HD™ Plus Launched
The AniCAM HD™ Plus kept everything users trusted in the HD model and made one smart upgrade: the lens system. The new magnetic quick-change design makes switching magnification simple and reliable, with no tools or fiddly adjustments.
Just snap in a lens and the software instantly recognises the change, adjusting settings automatically. Every scan stays consistent and accurate, no matter who’s using it. That level of repeatability is what sets it apart.
